It’s hard to believe, but Door Buddy is officially 10 years old in October 2025!

What began as a late-night DIY fix to keep our curious 10-month-old toddler out of the laundry room (and away from the cat’s litter box) has turned into something so much bigger than we ever imagined.

Back then, we were both working full-time jobs and building Door Buddy at night from our garage—assembling every product by hand and shipping orders with a newborn, toddler, and two cats in tow. Today, we’re proud to say that every single Door Buddy is still made, assembled, and packaged with care right here in Alabama, by our amazing team in our very own facility.
